Slide the keyboard about 2-3 millimeters towards the display so there is a gap between the bottom side of the keyboard and palm rest assembly. Start separating the keyboard from the top cover. Carefully lift up the brown retainer using your fingernail. The cable retainer will open up at a 90 degree angle. Now you can pull keyboard cable from the connector. Now you should be able to remove the keyboard completely.
